This study is motivated by the importance of understanding the relevance of the Apostle Peter’s leadership in addressing the increasingly complex leadership challenges of today. The study aims to analyze the role, contributions, and characteristics of the Apostle Peter’s leadership in the development of the early church and to examine its application in the context of modern leadership. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method, drawing from the Bible as primary data and supported by theological literature and scholarly journals. The approach utilized is a descriptive analysis of the dynamics of faith, character, and leadership practices of Peter as a values-based leadership model. The results of the study indicate that Peter’s leadership is characterized by strong faith, courage in decision-making, and significant personal transformation, which contributed to the growth of the early church. These values are relevant to the concept of transformational leadership in a modern context. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of theological perspectives with contemporary leadership theory, particularly in emphasizing that individual weaknesses can be part of the process of forming effective leadership. This study concludes that value- and character-based leadership plays a crucial role in building adaptive, inclusive, and integrity-driven leadership in the present day.
