Abstract

The era of globalization has brought disruptions in values, technology, and culture that challenge the relevance of church institutions. This study explores the effectiveness of contextual leadership as an adaptive solution for church leaders. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach, the research finds that rigid leadership tends to fail in engaging millennial and Generation Z congregants who are highly exposed to global information flows.

The findings indicate that contextual leadership, which integrates enduring theological values with flexibility toward local cultural expressions, is able to foster sustainable church growth. The proposed strategies include redefining digital communication, embracing diversity, and developing more organic organizational structures.summoned to embody incarnational ethics, Kingdom witness, and salvation hope in the midst of the socio-cultural turbulence of the 21st century. This research offers an original canonical-theological framework that systematically bridges Old and New Testament themes and is particularly relevant for seminary training and urban ministry contexts.
